Learn from Kenyan violence, envoy urges Zambia

Kenyan High Commissioner to Zambia Dr. Kipyego Cheluget has advised Zambians not to allow the election to divide the country.
Dr. Cheluget says the one day exercise should not be left to disturb the peace the country has continued to enjoy for the past 47 years.

He tells QFM that Zambians should learn from what happened in Kenya in 2008 and should not allow the same to happen in the country.

The Kenyan high commissioner has since called all Zambians to be peaceful in the forthcoming general elections.
There is an on-going plot by some poltical parties and NGOs to resort to violence should they lose elections this year.
