Livingstone villagers share water with goats

Poor provision of safe and adequate drinking water to some villagers in rural parts of Livingstone has forced them to share water points with animals.

Settlers of Livingstone’s Kasiya area have described the situation as inhuman and a health hazard.

They have revealed to MUVI TV that the area has no bore-holes forcing them to draw water from a dam were domestic animals like Cattle, goats and dogs also drink from.

And Livingstone District Commissioner, Paul Sensele says plans are under way to sink ten bore holes in the drought stricken area.
