Lost but found: Sata expected to peep in cameras today

After almost two weeks of being absent without official leave (AWOL), president Michael Sata is today expected to peep in cameras at State House.

Sata is expected to swear in some MPs from the UPND as deputy ministers. One of the MPs to be sworn in told the Watchdog that he wants to stand very close to Sata and shake his hands to really see how fit or unfit he is.

The last time Sata was seen in ‘public’ was on February 27, 2013 when he was again peeping in cameras and swearing in opposition MPs to his cabinet which now has more than 70 members.

On Tuesday, Sata will be expected to take part in matches to commemorate youth day having missed women’s day.
