Luanshya youth bemoans lack of development

A youth in Luanshya has observed that lack of development in his area can only be attributed to the government lack of foresight in matters of development.
Timothy Mumba who is the youth Chaiirperson for the Kasongo St. Monic Centre in Kasongo constituency, Luanshya says many youths are languishing in abject poverty because government has not played its role in providing the incentives for the youths.
He has also castigated the area Member of Parliament Simon Kachimba for not having visited the area to assess what the people who voted for him are lacking.
According to Mumba, he has been jobless for more than 20 years adding that his political alignment has since shifted to the opposition with the hope that they may improve the livelihood of the people of Zambia.
Mr. Mumba also condemned the opposition New Generation party president, Humphrey Siulapwa for portraying no personal and party stance but instead support the ruling MMD.
He says Siulapwa can not support another party when he has his own party with the same agenda of forming government.
“It doesnt make sense, he is an opposition political party leader, but he is busy campaigning for Rupiah Banda. Why cant he just declare his interest of being an MMD follower,” Mumba qurried.
