Kabwata Member of Parliament (MP) Given Lubinda has praised nurses in the country for rendering great services in saving people’s lives.
Mr. Lubinda said nurses and other medical officers should be appreciated because their profession was delicate.
He said this today when he handed some Christmas presents to some deserving nurses at Kabwata Clinic in Lusaka.
And Mr. Lubinda has appealed to government to pardon some nurses who participated during the recent illegal strike and reinstate them into their positions.
He said Christmas is a time when people should learn to forgive one another and share light moments together.
He added that he has been praying for the expelled nurses from the time they were fired so that the Ministry of Health should rescind its decision.
