Lucky Mulusa’s lies on Mulungushi Textiles laid bare

On Saturday 16th January, State house special assistant for projects implementation and monitoring Lucky Mulusa in an exclusive interview with Kabwe’s KNC radio told the people of Kabwe that the PF government is not happy with Mohammed Enterprises Textiles Limited (METL), who was corruptly given Mulungushi Textiles by President Lungu.

Mulusa said the matter has gone to court and is awaiting the determination of the injunction, but all what Mulusa said were lies as METL has won the injunction and the court last week ordered government to surrender the key to the storeroom, which is the centre of the industry. By this court order METL can now recklessly strip the factory.

Mulusa is in fact the one who exposed the scam in which METL is selling imported fertiliser and detergents but when he reported the matter to his boss Lungu, he was blasted and on his return to Kabwe he has avoided going to the factory again. He is instead trying to cover his boss’ corruption.

Here is the cutting from the Monday, 11th January 2016 edition of the Daily Nation newspaper, page 7.
