Lungu appoints Chipampe as his new spokesperson

President Edgar Lungu has appointed Isaac Chipampe as as State House Press Aide to replace Amos Chanda.

He was until his appointment, Director for Press and Media Development at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

He also previously served as Managing Editor of the government owned Daily Mail.

He is due to be sworn in this morning at State House.

People in the know say Chipampe is puppet for Amos Chanda as he is the one who influenced who influenced his appointment as Managing Director at the Zambia Daily Mail. He also made him Director at the Ministry.

That means Chanda will still have remote control as Chipampe is not really very intelligent.

All he is thinking right now is to cut deals. I dont know where this culture of corruption by Press Aides under PF came from. It was unheard of years past.

Remember Richard Sakala was Ka FTJ’s crooked press aid who ended up serving jail time. That’s where it all started!
