Lungu cancels Chama rally due to poor attendance

Outgoing President Edgar Lungu was yesterday forced to cancel the planned rally in Chama District due to poor turn up of people despite high profile musicians.
Lungu’s advance choppers arrived in Chama arrived early in the morning to attract the crowds but people were busy with their normal duties of economic hardships.
They later sent trucks for a Chinese construction company to ferry people but the response was negative.
Later PF thugs started forcing people to close their shops to attend the rally but as you can see from these pictures that where captured at 14hrs, that was the only crowd that had come from 06hrs.imageimage
Later Lungu’s people just gave out packets of soya pieces to a few who went before they ferried them back to their villages.
Recently PF cadres on the Copperbelt complained of being tired of being ferried to various parts of the country, and normally kept in hungry.
Chama and many such areas are predominantly farming areas and the PF has destroyed the agriculture sector with fertiliser now fetching as much as K500 per pocket from the K150 or so barely a year ago.
But of course these are the kinds of images you will not be shown on ZNBC and Lungu’s message now is dancing for JK.
