Ba Chitimukulu as a Paramount Chief that presides over millions of people as his subjects should have used the occasion to hear from HH (the horse’s mouth) on his positon over the allegations he raised and attributed to having been said by one James Lukuku whose political party is in alliance partnership with UPND (HH’s political party).
That would have enabled the chief to make a decision on how to deal with the issue. Provide counsel if HH was to have been found wanting for instance.
But unfortunately, for the Paramount Chief to have chosen to express his grievances to President ECL gave an impression that he was seeking sympathy and henceforth requesting the Head of State to use his powers to deal with HH on his behalf as a way of vengeance.
The manner and circumstances under which the discussion was held could also be described as gossiping, the least of which a Paramount Chief or indeed any other chief or person in leadership would be expected to do.
What I would reccomend to Ba Chitimukulu would be for him to summon HH (as one of his sons and a subject for that matter) to his palace to sort out the issue. Otherwise, some of our citizens will be left with no option but to conclude that the Paramount Chief’s motive indeed was to request the Head of State to use his powers to find means to punish HH on his behalf for vengeance.
As the case may be now, soon after that palace meeting, the President went to announce at a campaign rally that some citizens besides Nawakwi had petitioned him to constitute an inquiry into the role of HH under privatisation in the 90’s and so he the President was now eager to expediously do so for the petitioners. You see!

To hell with so called Zambian Unity. Some tribes like to think that they are the one ruling the country and running the economy while others should be passengers. As for us from Barotseland we have been aware of such moves and we have on several occasions made our stand clear. Zambia it it form is an illegal state and no amount of peace making can heal the wounds of lies and deceit.

Its a shame a leader start talking of avoiding someone instead of preaching peace and reconciliation

The late Sata had problems with Ba Kanyanta Sosala. Signs of Mwakoleism are now showing. The problem in some Zambian chiefs is that that they like fast money even when they are ruling over resources and land. Ba Data had genuine issues with Bashi Lubemba. Ni Mwakole. Mwa tusebanya MWe imfumu

Wonder how much this weak chief was given to be telling the pf what they want to hear. Why should HH be held responsible for Lukuku a utterance. A new GLX a few thousand kwacha can turn supposedly wise people to fools.

Chitimukulu must not send wrong perception to Zambians 1 week ago

Am disappointed with my Chief. Doesn’t it concern him that Zambia is Polarized between North East and South West? Doesn’t it further concern him that all our problems as a people is mostly failure by HE ECL to talk to HH? Doesn’t concern our Chief that tribalism is being championed by PF Ministers & senior party leaders like GBM? Isn’t it our Chief who is now sending a perception of being pro-PF and against the major political party in the country? Bashi Lubemba, abana balaluba no kulufyanya & u as a Chief should help bring children to dialogue & reconciliation.  I beg you my Chief stop this perception that u a partisan it’s not good for our establishment & u may deeply regret one day!

Kanabesa, you are a serious let down in the history of Zambia. You are the people who say, umwana Kazembe, kakukoma wabwela wakobeka. You are not and will never be impartial, you are actually a PF carder. How are you going to face HH when he becomes the Republican President? You’re a very serious enemy of progress. You were not supposed to talk about HH with ba Lungu, ebubootlicker ubobwine. As a father to every Zambian, you should have allowed HH and air your concerns with him and counsel him especially that he is seeking Public Office. Ebufyashi Kanabesa. Efyo mwachitile ngo muti ulekula mwandufya.

Shame on the Chief. He has accepted to be used by politicians, it is clear that it is inconvenient for him to reconcile with HH. A true leader should have instead focused on asking Lungu why he and HH are not reconciled. A leader has to remove themselves from it all.

How do you hold talks “in” someone? It looks like we have failed to learn the queen’s language and are better off expressing ourselves in our local languages.
