Lungu considering Kaseba as replacement for ailing Wina

President Edgar Lungu and his close advisors have reportedly decided to replace ailing Vice President, Inonge Wina with Christine Kaseba.

This scheming is ongoing while Mrs. Wina is recovering from a heart attack she suffered last week.

Doctors at UTH inserted a pacemaker in Mrs.Wina to help with her irregular heartbeat. Kaseba is the widow of the PF founder Michael Sata, and her choice is supposed to evoke an emotional and sympathetic vote for president Edgar Lungu and the PF in 2021.

The choice of Kaseba is a personal blow to Luapula United leader Chitalu Chilufya who has been following Wina’ sickness with keen interesting hoping that once she is out, he will be the running mate.

Chilufya, who is this he health minister, has been telling doctors attending to Wina to give her medical advice to step down.

Kaseba is currently working as high commissioner to France.
