President Edgar Lungu on Wednesday extended his visit to Namibia by another day so that he could go to the beach.
According to sources in Lungu’s entourage, the PF leader decided to go to Walvis Bay and Swakopmund to play at the beach after his official business in Namibia ended. This is another huge, unplanned for cost at the expense of Zambians.
According to people with Lungu, the president begged Namibian President Hage Geingob to go with him to the beach.
President Lungu, who was supposed to return to Zambia yesterday, will now return home after visiting the beaches.
President Lungu was initially in Namibia as one of the guests at that country’s Heroes National day but after other presidents left Namibia, Lungu and his huge entourage decided to become tourists.
