After ferrying people to Mazabuka, Monze, Choma & Livingstone and forcing civil servants to attend the same rallies, PF candidate Edgar Lungu has failed to show up. No official reason has been given but people who had gathered in Mazabuka were told to go back as the organisers also did not know where he was. Despite his ill health, his handlers have been forcing Lungu to address at least three rallies in a day. He has been trying to keep pace with UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema who has been managing to hold upto four rallies in different towns in a day.
Even In Livingstone, people who turned up to see what he looks like just left the venue. Others were heard mocking that maybe he is drunk as usual. According to the official programme released by PF, Lungu was supposed to hold rallies on Friday in Livingstone, Choma, Monze and Mazabuka. These rallies were heavily advertised on local radio stations.
