Lungu fails to travel for Northern Province rallies due to illness

Patriotic Front candidate in the coming elections Edgar Lungu has failed to travel for the scheduled rallies in Kaputa, Nsama, and Mpulungu due to ill health though the PF wants to give reasons of logistics as the reason for cancellation.
But sources have disclosed that Mr. Lungu who is also Defense and Justice Minister was scheduled to travel to Northern Province today but he has failed and is still at his residence despite the programme for rallies being confirmed.
Lungu has so far not hidden his problems with being diabetic and liver complications.
PF officials on the ground are equally at a loss why Lungu has not travelled, but Lungu’s propaganda agent Emmanuel Mwamba a short while ago claimed the PF team has no Planes and Helicopters for the campaigns.
But Zambians know Lungu has so far been to Mongu, Kasama, Luwingu and other places using planes.
Below is the lie Mwamba posted from Mpulungu and wants Zambians to believe.
IMMEDIATE RELEASE

27TH DECEMBER 2014

LUNGU’S CAMPAIGN PROGRAM RESCHEDULED TO MONDAY

We wish to announce that the campaign program has been rescheduled to Monday 29TH December 2014.

PF President Edgar Lungu was due to continue his presidential campaign on Saturday 27TH December 2014.

The entire program has been rescheduled to Monday and will go on as planned.

The delay has been caused by unavailability of the Planes and Helicopters hired in this campaign trail.

The logistical delay has been caused by the current holidays.

The agent hired to make these arrangements experienced difficulties to deliver the fixed wing Plane and two Helicopters and could only deliver them on Sunday in the afternoon.

The program however proceeds as scheduled on Monday 29th December 2014.

On Monday, PF President will visit Kaputa, Nsama and Mpulungu.

He will later hold rallies in Mbala and Mungwi on Tuesday 30th December 2014.

He will proceed to Mpika, Chinsali and Isoka on Wednesday 31st December 2014.

We therefore call upon our members to keep their high spirits and ensure that the turnout is massive at the rallies.

HON. FREEDOM CHOMBA SIKAZWE MP
MEMBER OF CENTRAL COMMITTEE
PROVINCIAL MINISTER- NORTHERN PROVINCE
