Lungu moves commandoes he wants to use after losing elections to Lusaka West

Outgoing President Edgar Lungu has now secretly moved the special forces commonly known as commandos to Lusaka West at a special military camp called L85 from Emasdale after being exposed by the Zambian Watchdog yesterday morning.

Lungu has since placed the unit under retired Gen. Chibombe who was in charge of the Commando Unit in Ndola some years back and was later promoted and moved to Kabwe where he was retired in 2014.

Lungu over the weekend met Gen. Chibombe at Kara Camp in Kawambwa, Luapula Province, at the Special Forces Marine Unit.
The special forces are the ones to be used to arrest UPND President Hakainde Hichilema and his running mate Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba after Lungu loses elections but refuses to handle over power.
He also wants them to brutalise citizens and cause bloodshed during elections which Lungu is not ready to give up.
Sources close to the operations have revealed that Lungu has decided to use the retired Gen. Chibombe as he has lost trust in the serving command of Army Commander Paul Mihova.

The recently promoted Warranty Officer E.M. Musonda who came with the Commando unit from Mushili will now report directly to Gen. Chibombe and cause bloodshed in the country as Lungu wants to refuse to hand over power.
