President Lungu and his PF government have now decided to construct an interdenominational church building to be situated in Lusaka’s Woodlands forest area.
Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda said the church building will be known as the New Tabernacle National House of Prayer
Chanda said President Lungu will on October 25th officiate at the ground breaking event for the New Tabernacle National House of Prayer.
He said President Lungu has decided to set up the building as a neutral church venue where Christians will be able to meet for various gatherings.
The church building will be owned by the government meaning the state has now joined the business of running churches.
