Lungu sends former UPND MP to SADC assignment

 

President Edgar Lungu has appointed Former UPND Bweengwa Member of Parliament Highvie Hamududu as his special assistant and advisor to the up coming elections in Eswatini (Swaziland).

Hamududu currently runs a political party called Party for National Unity (PNU) which is funded by PF

The Watchdog understands that Lungu will soon appoint Hamududu as minister and possibly running mate for 2021.

In the Eswatini elections, Hamududu is representing Lungu as Head of SADC Electoral Observation Mission (SEOM).

Lungu is the Chairperson of the SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation but he sent Hamududu to represent him not any cabinet minister as protocol would suggest.
