Lungu send Mwamba to America to mend relations
President Edgar Lungu has sent Zambia’s Permanet Representative to the African Union (AU) to try and mend the broken relationship with the World’s most powerful country following the exit of their Diplomat in Zambia.
Daniel Foote, the US Ambassador who was expelled from Zambia revealed that the two country’s relations had been “strained” accusing the government of being corrupt.
However, sources told the Zambian watchdog that President Lungu, wanted to mend the relations with America, sending Mwamba to Washington.
Zambia has an Ambassador in Washington, Ngosa Simbyakula.
