Lungu to quit as PF SG and bow down to Scott by filing in nominations

Scott-and-LunguThe cartel of Fred Mmembe, Guy Scott and others are Wednesday morning likely to score a huge success as Edgar Lungu is likely to bow down to their scheme by filing in his nomination papers and go for the convention which he was opposed.

Lungu has until tomorrow to eat a humble pie and bow down to Scott by submitting his nomination papers and relinquish his position as party Secretary General, just like Commerce Minister Miles Sampa has done by quitting as Central Committee Member.

When he does that, Lungu will just be an ordinary party member as an aspirant and remain vulnerable as the acting party president Scott will be at liberty to appoint anybody he wants.

Lungu wanted to be anointed as an automatic successor but the entire late president Michael Sata’s family have since disowned him as they have all filed in nominations and are demanding for a party convention.

Even this morning, Miles Sampa, who is late Sata’s nephew, was denouncing Lungu on UNZA radio where he accused him of promising six people the position of vice-president and five people for the position of Secretary General of PF once he becomes president.

Lungu is reportedly currently printing six million t-shirts in China using the money and connections from RDA Board Chairman Willie Nsanda who has so far remained as the only one supporting him, according to PF sources.
