Lungu was supposed to use Chopper to Kuomboka

More Information has emerged that PF President Edgar Lungu was supposed to take a Helicopter flight from Mongu Airport to Limulunga hence the noticable absense of Police officers on the route. A senior Intelligence Officer who was on duty that particular day has disclosed that after realising that UPND President Hakainde Hichilema had alot of support in Mongu than PF President Edgar Lungu, arrangements were made to fly Lungu to Limulunga the place where the Kuomboka takes place. However, several PF cadres including PF Minister of Home Affairs Stephen Kampyongo said they did not want to be seen to have been beaten to the game by UPND and influenced Lungu to take a drive to Limulunga. ” The arrangement was that Lungu is flown to Limulunga because HH had alot of support and we didnt want him to be embarrased. That is why there was a Presidential Chopper in Mongu. This is the reason why Police where stationed at Airport and Limulunga not along the road. However Kampyongo and others said ” Teti Batuchinfye” meaning they can not beat us. That is how the Edgar Lungu was driven. The Police were stationed at point of departure(airport) and point of arrival(Limulunga) the source said.
