Lungu’s chopper fails to take off in Solwezi?

Information reaching the Zambian Watchdog is that President Edgar Lungu’s private chopper has failed to take off from an area where he was having a rally today.

Sources close to the Presidency have disclosed that the President was forced to travel by road to another area where he was scheduled to have another rally, and now there is need to make some arrangements to bring in another helicopter. We will bring more details on this matter later.

Recently Lungu, who is in Solwezi with former president rupiah Banda was booed by Solwezi residents and on his return, police were instructed to use tear gas on the residents to avoid a repeat of the booing.

“We wouldn’t be surprised that his aircraft has failed to take off, this is North Western province and home to the renowned terrorist Adamson Mushala. Otherwise the machine has just been alright through and through,” jokingly said the source.
