Lungu’s comments put Zambians in Uganda in danger

There are reports that Zambians resident in Uganda especially Kampala, maybe targeted for revenge attacks, following President Lungu’s utterances on that Country’s disputed elections that saw the Ugandan leader Museveni ‘win’ for the umpteenth time.
Lungu said Museveni had legitimately won and that Ugandans must now move forward. Lungu also told the Uganda opposition to change their candidate. This caused an unprecedented social media storm that seemed to have marred and clouded Lungu’s visit.

There are now fears that some Ugandans want to register their displeasure on Lungu’s comments by targeting Zambians living in the East African country.

Zambians have since been advised to stay indoors until the storm settles down.
