Kindly post this for me:
Our Zambian Church has lost morality. Instead of been in the forefront to stand & speak for the poor they have opened their doors to Edgar Lungu who is manipulating them into praising him so that he looks clean in the eyes of our people. It’s shamefull really because churches are not supposed to be used by politicians who want to deceive people into believing that suddenly they have become spiritual. Its just yesterday when Edgar Lungu used a word ‘ATASE’ on his opposition rivals when he was giving a speech during the 2015 PF youth rally & i don’t know how many of you got it. How can you use words like ‘atase’ on your opposition rivals after conducting National prayers aimed at fostering reconciliation? If many of you had a chance to follow the proceedings of the 2015 PF youth rally which was held in Kitwe you would be able to believe with me that Lungu & the rest of PF have not really reformed. Vulgar & hate statements where issued by Kambwili, Edgar lungu & other PF officials. After issuing such statements Edgar Lungu & Kambwili attended a church service at St. Magrets where a man of God praised them & called them God-fearing leaders. What our men of God running our churches don’t know is that Edgar Lungu is just using them to make people believe that the problems this country is going through are not as a result of bad governance by the PF but external forces. In my opinion Prayers are not what is going to end our problems in zambia but hard work.I have seing countries that don’t fast & call for National prayers but they are doing well economicaly. God doesn’t bless the works of a lazy man but blesses the works of hard-working men & women whether christians or muslems. Going from one Church to the other by our president will not solve our problems in Zambia. What will solve our problems is hard work. Zambians leaders are lazy & thats why we are poor. We always want foreigners to come & create jobs for our people who vote for us & thats why they leave when copper prices have fallen & our people end up losing jobs. If our leaders work hard they can take control of these companies which are in the hands of foreigners & safeguard the jobs our people.

Atending football matches by our president will not help solve our problems because showing people that you are social will not solve our problems. What the president should be doing is to start diversifying our economy so that we stop atributing kwacha depreciation to the fall in the price of copper. If we look at south africa they have diversified their economy & they are still diversifying. South africa is able to export cars, vegitables, sweets, etc. while Zambia only relies on copper exports & can not manufacture a simple thing like ‘akaleza’. If you look at Rand it has depreciated because of the economic activities taking place in the country. Being a country which exports more than it imports south africa has allowed it’s currency to depreciate so that it exports more. What this means is rand has not actually depreciated but they have allowed it to depreciate so that demand is more than supply. On the contrary kwacha has depreciated not because there are economic activities in the country but because of lack of good governance & diversification. If the Church is going to represent the needs of the poor they should not be used by politicians as a place of confort when they fail to perform their duties. What the church is supposed to do is to tell Edgar Lungu to start diversifying our economy with the natural resources God has blessed us with before God punishes him. This idea of using the Church to gain political mileage is not helping us & its the same idea the late FTJ used but you all know what happened afterwards. In conclussion I would love to appeal to our Churches not be used by politicians. Churches are supposed to be the voice of the voiceless so lets start telling these politicians to recruit teachers & defense personel, cut the price of meali-meal, reduce the price of fuel, cut the number of ministerial positions, stop pardoning criminals like General kanene & start diversifying our economy.
