PF National Chairperson Inonge Wina says the walking stick Chawama MP Edgar Lungu uses to walk is not for witchcraft.

Inonge claims the stick was given to Lungu by the Litunga Lubosi Imwiko II during his visit to the Palace. Wina was speaking at a rally addressed by Lungu in Mansa on Sunday.
“Let me explain the Walking Stick. it’s not from a witch doctor. When he was Acting President, he visited the Litunga. As a mark of respect, the Litunga gave him a special gift. This walking stick is given to a few selected individuals,” Wina explained as the crowd burst into laughter.
She said she had heard many rumours about the walking stick so she needed to explain.
Lungu started using the walking stick a few days before president Michael Sata died.
There have also been speculations that Lungu is a Muslim or at least attends Muslim prayers once in a while.
