Lusaka based policeman bitten to death by dogs

A police officer of Lusaka has been bitten to death by vicious dogs while the other one is battling for his life in the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).

According to police spokesperson Elizabeth Kanjela, Constable Misimuko a police officer from Bomoro Police station was bitten by six Sheppard dogs causing multiple injuries that led to his death.

Kanjela explained that the incident happened during the early hours of Sunday at house number 152 in Zanimuone area.

She said the two police officers went to visit their friend Jabica Paul.

She explained that while trying to open the gate the dogs pounced on the two men killing one and causing serious injuries on Nyasulu.

The body of the deceased is lying in UTH Mortuary while the victim is being treated from the same hospital.
