The Lusaka City Council says will remove vendors and all make-shift stalls in Cairo, Katunjila, Chachacha and Freedom Way Roads
If you can do this, you have my vote. Lusaka street vendors are just a tiny fraction of loud rascals inconveniencing alot of citizens. The majority of voters want them out, but the powers that be think that this tiny “loud” rascals can vote them out. What a joke! What about the law abiding vendors who trade in designated areas? Why cant they be protected? Alternatively, charge them a fee say K20 for trading on those streets, and you never see them again. Because they dont want to contribute anything, just want profits at the expense of others. Yes times are hard, but vendors are a health hazard and a nuisance. Kick them out now, town is one hell of a big market nowadays!
No can do va council, LCC. Sorry abana epo tuvalisha.
GREAT MOVE BRAVO
