Lusaka Water & Sewerage workers not paid for May

Lusaka water and Sewerage company workers have not been paid their May 2016 salaries due to lack of money.
Meanwhile, Kabwata has run out of water.
Paxina Musukuma, the Hunan resource director told hungry workers that the company is failing to collect enough money to pay them.
She said the workers are supposed to be paid every 25th day of the month but this month they have to wait ‘a few more days’.
The failure by Lusaka Water to collect enough money is a direct result of the poor economy. People in private companies do not get paid because there is no business and civil servants are living on borrowed money so where do you expect people to find money to pay for water?
Things will get worse after 11 August if the visionless people are allowed to continue messing the country.
The Kwacha will fall to K20 per USD, according to market intelligence sources .
