Copperbelt Province Minister Bowman Lusambo says no student at the Copperbelt University was beaten or injured by Zambia Police. Mr Lusambo says the 25 students that are currently admitted in intensive care are those are drunkards who were fighting among-est themselves. “Am the minister of this province. I am the eyes of the president, i can confirm to you that no CBU student was beaten or injured by police”, he said. “In-fact all no single police officer entered CBU at night All those students in hospitals are just drunkards who were fighting amongest themselves outside college”, he said. Lusambo was speaking in an interview with journalists in Ndola on Sunday.
