Lwandamina has invited Zesco United midfielder Mwape Mwelwa, Mwila Phiri of Green Eagles and Zanaco forward Moses Phiri.
“The door is open to any player who proves to be worthwhile. This competition being for locally based players means we have a large pool to select from,” Lwandamina said.
Mwila Phiri is Green Eagles’ second highest top scorer with 8 goals behind Adamson Mulao while Mwape Mwelwa has scored 5 league goals at Zesco United.
Moses Phiri is Zanaco’s leading scorer with seven goals in the league.
Zambia defeated Mozambique 3 – 0 in Ndola on Sunday with goals from Winston Kalengo, Conlyde Luchanga and Spencer Sautu.
The team has set up camp in Lusaka and will hold training sessions at Independence Stadium ahead of departure for Maputo on Friday.
