Magande blames PF regime for constitution impasse

The National Movement for Progress (NMP) says the impasse on the current constitutional making process between the PF regime  and the Technical committee has been created the Patriotic Front (PF) government.

NMP president Ng’andu Magande says this because the PF government refused to heed advice from the opposition and civil society to develop a clear road map of THE whole process.

Mr. Magande who is also former Finance Minister under the Movement Multi-Party Democracy (MMD)Government notes that if the PF government had earlier established a clear road map FOR the whole constitutional making process, it would not have incurred any further expenditure and completion deadline extensions.

Mr. Magande has further charged that arising from the two extensions, the final document by the technical committee will lack credence.

The NMP leader said this in an interview with Qfm.
