Magande has been paying for his campaign message on Mazabuka Community radio station.
The move has alarmed MMD National Secretary Katele Kalumba who has warned Magande to stop campaigning saying the MMD has not yet given a go-ahead to aspirants.
Katele told ZNBC that even the MMD ‘official’ candidate Rupiah Banda has not yet started campaigning.
But Magande has reportedly allowed his supporters in Mazabuka to distributing the Curriculum Vitae.
And ZANIS reports that Management at Mazabuka Community radio station has suspended the broadcasting of political campaign advertisements for Magande in which he is urging MMD delegates to the forthcoming convention to vote for him.
Station manager, Belon Chintombwa said management decided to suspend the airing of Mr Magande’s political advertisements because the K 300,000 that Mr Magande paid through his agent for advertisement has been exhausted.
The Station Manager said that the advertisement which has been composed in Bemba is encouraging all MMD delegates to the convention to vote for Mr Magande for MMD Presidency.
Mr Chintombwa disclosed that the political adverts for Mr Magande only ran for three days starting from last week on Saturday adding that the radio station will only resume the broadcast of Mr Magande’s campaign materials once payments are made for more slots.
