Malambo murder suspect freed

THE Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has discharged Mumba Mutanuka in a case in which he was accused with his sister, Tshiabu Benos, of the murder of Lusaka businessman Reeves Malambo.

This is in a case where Mutanuka, 32, and Benos, 38, of plot number 1682/M First Street in Ibex Hill, were charged with murder.

When the case came up for mention before Magistrate Alfred Mwaba, the State entered a nolle prosequi on the part of Mutanuka.

Particulars of the offence are that Benos and Mutanuka, on January 29 or January 30, this year in Lusaka, jointly and whilst acting together, murdered Mr Malambo, 48, who was Autoforce proprietor.
