Masebo says Watchdog publicity will affect Zambia’s hosting of WTO, asks ZICTA to revoke it

Tourism and Arts Minister, Slyvia Masebo, has warned that negative publicity by The Zambian Watchdog  has the possibility of affecting the country’s hosting of the UNWTO General Assembly scheduled for August, next year.

She said this during a Tourism Investment Forum held at Chrismar hotel in Livingstone.

And Ms Masebo urged the Zambia Information Communication and Technology Authority (ZICTA) to revoke the law that allows the Zambian Watchdog to operate as an On-line publication.

She charged that people were being defamed on the online publication, adding that the UNWTO General Assembly could be threatened by that.
