In, out, Kakoma leaves Masumba joins UPND
Former Mufumbwe PF Member of Parliament, Stephen Masumba has resigned from the Patriotic Front (PF) to join the UPND.
Meanwhile former spokesperson Charles Kakoma has left UPND to join PF.
The political season is now open.
ALL THE BEST MY DEAR FRIEND CHARLES KAKOMA
We have been notified of the departure of our former party spokesperson Hon. Charles Kakoma who has today exercised his democratic right to join the PF.
For me, Hon. Kakoma was not only a senior UPND party official, but remains a good friend of mine dating back to our days as classmates at the University of Zambia.
I hold him in high esteem as a professional colleague and later as a politician whom I would like to sincerely thank for his immense contribution towards the growth of our party.
I particularly urge our party members and citizens in general to fully respect his decision to join the PF. His decision arises from his democratic right to choose who he should associate with at any given time.
We have repeatedly said opposition politics in Zambia now is like being a leper and a criminal. One has to pay the heavy price of being ostracized and shunned upon by those that do not want to encroach on the hospitality of the powers that be.
Being in opposition now means enduring brutality, suppression and basically an outcast in our own country.
We are reminded of the tribulations and torment that the children of Israel went through during their journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. It is not everyone who managed to cross over.
We consider the current situation to that of the biblical times for the children of Israel. We are on a turbulent journey with the suffering Zambian masses. We can see the promised land and request all our citizens to remain strong. It’s darkest before dawn.
‘Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.’ Ephesians 6:11
Let’s continue moving forward.

Kakoma was just eccess baggade.
Defectors are TRAITORS. They don’t deserve anybody’s vote!
People are free political choice but integrity and consistency are important. Like Antonio Mwanza Charles Kakoma is joining the very evils he used to condemn. As the bible says, A dog returns to its vomit.
PF and its leader have solutions to the huge problems they have credited. The $27 billion debt and messed up economy can’t be fixed.by PF bribes or rigging.
Kapita also cashed in with PF.
PF have no solutions to the huge problems they have created.
Never loose hope even in reality loved ones are lost but still life goes on even among Jesus deciples judas crossed to the opposition but that didn’t mean his mission ended no
I heard a man talking that Zambia could burn as our greedy corrupt immigration services has awarded permits to several people from East Africa especially Somalia, Middle East and Pakistan who may be radicalizing Zambian converts to Islam and young Zambian men and women who grew up in Islamic orphanages. He said these people arrived in huge numbers in the last 7-10 years guised as investors. After seeing what’s happening in northern Mozambique, I’m worried. I hope our intelligence service is on top of this issue and monitoring who’s coming to Zambia and their activities. AS ZAMBIANS WE NEED TO WAKE UP. ISLAMIC JIHAD IS IN OUR LAND AND GROWING. BE VIGILANT AND OPEN YOUR EYES AND KNOW WHAT’S HAPPENING AROUND YOU. SAFEGUARD OUR FUTURE
No suprise this is the time u will see real men most of them it’s about money , it’s about money money money that’s all
Ba Minister Lusambo does he have grade 12certificate ? Ca’s his English is below the school , we don’t want chairmen to be checking pantu Bambi can be favored
If the opposition is not united then PF will rig and win again
The headline has a fundamental error
Losing a long time Senior Party member from the Party. Not just a senior Member but a former voice and defender of the Party and then you celebrate the joining of a convict. This is not the time to lose people, we need more numbers. We are helping PF win my brothers and sisters.
