Masupa urges ministers from MMD to dialogue with party

Independent Churches of Zambia Director Reverend David Masupa has advised individuals from Movement for Multi party Democracy (MMD) who have been appointed to ministerial positions in the new regime to dialogue with their party.

Masupa told HOT FM that it is sad to note that those appointed have been seriously condemned by the former ruling party.

He said the appointment of MMD members is likely to result in by elections due to the fact that appointed may be termed unfaithful to their party, adding that such a development will drastically affect the country’s budget.

The clergyman also noted that there was need for the Patriotic Front government to meet the MMD National Executive Committee (NEC) to discuss and consult prior to appoint the party members to cabinet.
