Mathew Mohan found guilty of false pretences

Mathew Mohan has been found guilty of  obtaining goods by false pretences.

Mohan was accused of obtaining 50 radios, nine batteries and one motorbike valued at K67,200,014.71 from a Rolf Pfeifer.

Mohan is currently in remand prison waiting for judgment in a different criminal offence of Murder. Mohan and two others are charged with murdering Sajid Itowala.

In the false pretences case, magistrate Mwaka Mikalile who convicted Mohan reserved sentencing to February 15, 2011.

The convict was represenrted by a lawyer called Likando Kalaluka.
