Mazhandu bus was over speeding- RTSA

The Mazhandu bus accident that has killed 10 people in Central Province was caused by over speeding.
Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) Head of Public Relations Frederick Mubanga said the Mazhandu bus was over speeding and swayed to the opposite lane and hit into an oncoming truck.
Mubanga however says the Agency will inform the public on the action to be taken against Mazhandu Family Bus Service.
‘ The Agency will advise the public on the next course of action concerning the poor road safety profile for Mazhandu Family Bus Service,’ Mubanga said.
Last year RTSA suspended Mazhandu’s operating licence but was overruled by the government.
The same bus is reported to have been involved in another mishap on Monday at 19 hours.
