Men who beat women shouldn’t be given bail – minister

Gender Minister Elizabeth Phiri says people accused of Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in Zambia should not be given police bond or court bail when they are arrested.

Phiri says the law should be changed so that Gender-Based Violence offense in Zambia should be non-bailable.
