Miles Sampa had 900 votes with Geoffrey Mwamba following at 195 , Bob Sichinga 7, Edgar Lungu 5, Banda 4 votes and Christine Kaseba 20. Other votes were spoiled.

But it appears the results wont be announced until a court injunction that has been granted to the Edgar Lungu team is addressed in court.

The returning officer told delegates that  the court order was only served after the electoral process had begun but that this a technicality that would be rectified in Lusaka.

And acting president Guy Scot says he won’t expel PF members who held ‘an illegal meeting’ yesterday but will give them time to reflect.

Meanwhile, Chishimba Kambwili told a media briefing that there is a huge demon in the Patriotic Front, which even the courts of law cannot exorcise.

Kambwili said prayer and the church are the only hope for the Patriotic Front.

He has declared that both general conferences were illegal, as they did not follow the party constitution.

He said there are too many hidden agendas dividing the party.

Earlier, thugs at the ongoing parallel conference grabbed a court injunction from a court messenger at the gate of Mulungushi conference centre. The thus tore the injunction and told the messenger to go away.

Another copy was delivered to Antony Kasolo the deputy secretary general but he refused to accept it saying it was not addressed to him.

It appears the injunction was later successfully served.
