MMD advised to settle differences prior to polls

The Southern Africa Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (SACCORD) Information Officer Obby Chibuluma has advised the Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) to iron out its differences within the party prior to elections.
Chibuluma, who was commenting on the suspension of Chongwe Parliamentarian Sylvia Masebo, said the ruling party should be tolerant as it handles its members with different views.
He said it is disheartening to see the MMD which is the party in Government so divided, adding that divisions may cost the party dearly.
Chibuluma appealed to the ruling party to settle all differences and rise above challenges so that the party is strong as the country goes to the polls.
