MMD Die Hard wants Nevers Mumba for president

Some Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) members have proposed that fired envoy to Canada Nevers Mumba should take over as acting party president.

Die Hard MMD Wing national coordinator Bowman Lusambo told radioPhoenixSunday that Mumba has good leadership qualities.

Lusambo also said his team wants former Foreign affairs minister Kabinga Pande to take over as vice president.

He said former Finance minister Situmbeko Musokotwane should be appointed national chairman in acting capacity.

Lusambo claimed that he has received petitions from youths across the country fort he pronouncements he made.

The MMD is in the process of appointing an acting president following the retirement of Rupiah Banda
