MMD says will win Msanzala because people now know PF has no plan

The opposition Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) is optmistic of scooping the forthcoming Msanzala Constituency Parliamentary by elections.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia has prescribed Thursday, 16th February, 2012 as the date on which to hold the Parliamentary by-election for Msanzala constituency and Local Government by-elections in four (04) wards.
MMD deputy national secretary Chembe Nyangu has told Qfm in an exclusive interview that Msanzala residents have now realized that the ruling Patriotic Front  has no developmental agenda for the area.

Mr. Nyangu says his party is geared following successful interviews of two applicants who include losing candidate Peter Daka who has applied to re-contest the seat and a Mr. Maumba.

He says the PF government has neglected people of Msanzala since assuming office three Months ago and has further accused the PF of having tainted the Fertilizer Input Support Programme (FISP) in the

Mr. Nyangu adds that the PF stands no chance of amassing votes in Msanzala and further declares a landslide victory for his party.

The Msanzala seat fell vacant after the resignation of Independent area Member of Parliament Joseph Lungu to join the ruling PF.
