MMD suspends former youth chairman

Movement for Multi-party Democracy has suspended its Former National Youth Chairman, Patrick Musonda for alleged misconduct and being in bad standing with the party.

Musonda, who confirmed his suspension to radio phoenix said he has been suspended on four counts and given 10days to exculpate himself.

He said he would fight to regain his dignity and apologized for erring as he was reproached for having failed as Youth Chairman.

Musonda said he was also barred from contesting the party Vice Presidency against Vice President George Kunda as it is apparent that he had embarrassed the party by absconding various important events.
