The Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) says it may soon expel PF Gender Deputy Minister Josephine Limata even if it means causing a by-election.
MMD National Secretary Muhabi Lungu disclosed at a media briefing this Tuesday morning that Limata who is MMD Luampa Member of Parliament has shown serious indiscipline against the party on whose ticket she rode on to go to parliament.
Mr. Lungu has since instructed the Western Province Provincial leadership to quickly bring the matter to conclusion.
‘We are going to discipline Mrs. Limata regardless of the consequences. I mean regardless of consequences to the electoral calender. We need committed member,” he said.
Meanwhile, the MMD had dissolved the Copperbelt Provincial leadership and a number of district executives among them Lukulu and Kaoma district executives. Others are the Kawambwa district executive, Pambashe constistuency executive and the vubwi constituency executive.
