After being denied the right to hold ralllies as individual parties, five opposition political parties have now notified the police that they will hold a joint rally next Saturday in Lusaka’s Mtendere Residentail area.
The five parites are ADD, MMD, UPND, ULP and ZDDM.
According to a notification sent to the police, the oppostion will address the people of Zambia on the political situation in the country especially relating to the arrest of MMD leaders including party president Nevers Mumba.
The opposition leaders will also talk about the bad economic situtation in the country.
The noticfication signed by all political party secretaries-general says the notification is enough for the purpose of maintianing law and order.
