In all the aspects of life there have been a lot of Heroes and they have once gone high and once gone down, we read in history, “THE RISE AND FALL OF SHAKA”, “THE RISE AND FALL OF IDI AMIN” and so on. Also we should not forget that there have been heroes who will remain heroes even in death, people like Martin Luther King jnr, Mahatma Gandhi and many more.
1. Mr M’membe it is like you have failed Politics and you are now turning to the Church, stop burning your fingers with the Holy Ghost fire. We respected you for what you have achieved in life and what you have done for Zambia, but please change your stance before you go any further in deteriorating the name of the Church. In the post editorial for yesterday headed,’ Huge and Expensive’ dated 28 th April,2013, you were arguing with baseless points which do not make sense, every olden Church in Zambia has got its own way it contributes to the Zambian people, I know the Church you are talking about, you should ask before exposing your ignorance, this Church contributes to the Zambian people by paying a certain percentage of its proceeds to the Government annually, you should ask the Government where they take that percentage than bringing baseless anger to the Church.
2. Don’t even talk about the doctrine of the Lord Jesus because you don’t know it, the Doctrine of Jesus clearly says in Matthew 6:3 and I quote, “But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,” If you knew the Magnitude of this verse which I respect very much, you wouldn’t talk about such bitter words Baba M’membe.
3. The Church does not take up the full Government’s responsibility ,it only supplements by giving that percentage which you don’t know, even the Lord Jesus put it clearly,In Matthew 22:17-21, the Pharisees asked Jesus a question: “Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said: “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought Him a denarius, and He asked them, “Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. Then He said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” In full agreement, the Apostle Paul taught, “This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing. Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor” (Romans 13:6-7). So that is how this Church operates, this Church is not a political part and it is neutral to politics, anyway we respect your opinion, may God forgive you Mr M’membe you don’t know what you are talking about.
3. We respect all the Churches as regards to what they do,we are not the Judges but
God is the supreme judge. Also read

New International Version (NIV)
Christ Crucified Is God’s Power and Wisdom
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”[a]
20 Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe

No offence but only opening your eyes. This church respects all the Authorities in the Government but you shouldn’t teach the Church what to do. God bless you and your paper.
