The treacherous former Post newspapers IT manager Andrew Chiwenda is a dagga smoker who was in 2012 once arrested by the Drug enforcement commission – DEC for possession of cannabis but the matter did not proceed anywhere as by then The Post was a close ally of the PF government.
Sources close to DEC have disclosed that Chiwenda was apprehended by officers in Matero after a tip off and was found with about 100 grams of Cannabis. He was later arrested and charged for possession but before the matter could proceed to court, The Post in collaboration with State house interfered.
And some ex Post newspapers employees who know Chiwenda at personal level have told the Watchdog that he still smokes cannabis. For helping in bringing down the company that empowered him with education, he has since been rewarded with a job by the government in the Road Transport and Safety Agency RTSA.
Before eventually coming out in the open to betray M’membe and his other former workmates at The Post, Chiwenda faked a raid onto his house by security agents. It has now come to be known that the raid was actually planned by Chiwenda who claimed that security officers demanded for passwords to The Post server, which he gave them with ease but he was unlucky as they were quickly changed thereafter.
Chiwenda, who was sponsored by M’membe to go and study IT in the UK and remained one of his closest people among The Post workers is one of the notorious traitors who connived with Edgar Lungu and lawyer Lewis Mosho to bring down The Post newspaper and is currently working with Mosho in identifying private properties belonging to M’membe and his wife so that they can be repossessed.
In the picture here, while his former workmates are wallowing in hunger, Chiwenda can afford a nice time and even buy some sun glasses for his little children, and take selfies.
