MP Chishimba quits PF as Sata wishes him well

Kasama Central Member of Parliament (MP) Saviour Chishimba has resigned from the party.

Dr. Chishimba has also resigned as Member of Parliament for Kasama.

Dr. Chishimba announced his resignation in Ndola Sunday morning.

He says he will not join any political party will form his own ‘movement’.

PF president Michael Sata has since wished him well.

Mr Sata said that Dr. Chishimba’s reputation was shattered when he organised other PF MPs to defy party directives.

He said he was happy that Dr. Chishimba has realised that ‘you can’t have it both ways.’

He said because of his sincerity, Dr. Chishimba will bounce back in politics.

Dr. Chishimba has since written to Speaker of the National Assembly to declare ‘his’ seat vacant. He wished the PF well in the bye-election.

He said he doesn’t want to be part of the current corruption and nepotism that is ‘ruling’ in Zambian politics.

Dr. Chishimba, born in 1974, has an Honourary PH.D in Public Health, Certificate in Transformational Leadership, Certificate in Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS, Certificate in Business Administration,, Advanced Certificate in Business Administration
