Muchima’s case lesson to MMD ministers in PF – Mulongoti

Former Works and Supply Minister Mike Mulongoti says MMD Members of Parliament currently serving as deputy Ministers in the PF government are sitting on a time bomb which can explode any time.

Mr. Mulongoti says what is happening to Ikeleng’i Parliamentarian Elijah Muchima who was recently sacked as Lands deputy Minister must serve as a lesson to his colleagues.

He says President Sata’s move to appoint opposition Members of parliament as deputy Ministers was not in good faith but that it was aimed at silencing the opposition’s voice in Parliament.

The former cabinet minister says Zambians will soon witness a lot more dismissals of deputy Ministers who are in the opposition.

Mr. Muchima was on Friday arrested by the Police for suspected abuse of authority of office.
