Mugabe was a sadist brutal killer. There is no legacy left of him. We only respect Nyerere, Mandela and KK who left when things were better in their countries. Mugabe brought zZimbabwe to its knees.

Why pretend that he was an icon. In Africa let us learn to tell the truth. Mugabe was a shithole

I’m trying to understand the mood being expressed by his death. The mad died at 95 years old. That’s a very full life. An icon?  I don’t agree. He was a murderer of of his people especially thousands in Matebele land  and his political opponents, bankrupted his country and made history for reaching inflation rates in billions percent, the list goes on. He was a vindictive, cunning cold hearted cruel man who decimated too many lives who never got to live to his 95 years mugabe has enjoyed. Now he can stand before and answer for the thousands of lives he cut short. The icons of Africa are the Nyereres, Machels, Kaundas, who did not plunder the wealth of their countries but in humility and with the little they had, they sacrificed their countries, economies and citizens’ lives for the liberation of Africa.

His death is sad indeed. But dying in a foreign country seeking medical help is a disgrace. He was a ‘revolutionary’, & as such he would have bettered the lives of fellow Zimbabweans than what we see today.MHSRIP

My comments even in his death is Zimbabwe should have been left better than he found it from the South Rhodesians. African leaders must not think it cool to leave behind socio economic problems in their countries. Not cool!
