Mulusa rejected $2m from Chinese company

On 13th July 2017 at Paradise Lodges in Twin Palm; Lucky Mulusa was offered $2million by a known Chinese construction company but he refused to oblige and this cost former president Rupiah Banda and two  senior government ministers to lose out on the same deal for the same amount as they were all part and parcel of awarding the Chinese firm with a lucrative tender.

In the recording ( to follow), you hear Mr Mulusa strongly refusing to be part of such blatant corruption but sadly you hear the two senior government ministers reminding Mulusa that…. “this was our time to make money”…..It is not clear as to who was doing the secret recordings but sources say the office of the president made the recording and one of the officers leaked the recordings.

In a telephone interview held on 27th December 2017 Mr Lucky Mulusa said he was aware of the recording but he was not prepared to make a statement, he further intimated that the appropriate time will arise when he would hold a press briefing to address corruption in the Edgar Lungu lead PF administration. He also said that he would provide a list of names, properties both local and abroad, bank accounts both local and international and explain what business dealings the PF government has with known Nigerian and Congolese drug Barons.
